Court of Appeals Reverses IURC Decision Regarding BP Whiting Refinery
On Monday, the Indiana Court of Appeals reversed a controversial decision by the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission regarding the BP Whiting refinery. The Court of Appeals reversed the IURC and held that BP was not a public utility when it sold electricity to Marsulex, and that BP did not violate the Service Area Assignments Act.
