Katherine Erdel

Kate is a member of the Labor and Employment Department focusing her practice in the areas of discrimination defense, wage and hour advice, general workplace policies, and employment agreements and covenants not to compete. Kate also advises clients on employee handbook matters and is equipped to provide employment-related immigration services. As a law student and a member of the Honor Council, Kate was responsible for investigating ethical issues and presenting findings in formal hearings before faculty and staff. Kate was also active in the College’s Law Review, both as an author and an editor. Prior to attending law school, Kate taught seventh grade English in St. Louis as a Teach for America Corps member. While an undergraduate student at DePauw University, Kate earned a B.A. in writing, was a member of the Management Fellows Program, was active in her sorority and earned two varsity letters as a member of the women’s soccer team. In her free time, Kate continues to enjoy writing and soccer and has taken up long distance running. Contact Kate.
